Scholarship for Safer Streets
Chris Johnston and Chris Martineau are personal injury lawyers who have seen, first hand, injuries and deaths caused by distracted driving. Fortunately, distracted driving, and the often tragic results, can be reduced and the Johnston & Martineau Scholarship For Safer Streets is but one way in which that can happen.
The Johnston & Martineau Scholarship For Safer Streets will be accepting applications from new or current students attending either an accredited college or university in the United States.
Applicants will be judged on the content of the application essay as well as their academic merits.

ESSAY TOPIC
Outline a program aimed at reducing any type of distracted driving. In the vein of MADD, SADD, and other formal groups, your essay should explain the idea, how it will be implemented, and why you believe it will be effective.
Essay must be between 750 and 1000 words.
